Emmanuelle Sallin (Civil Engineer)

As an experienced civil engineer as well as a long-time IngOG+ member, Emmanuelle has an excellent network. With her open-mindedness she contributes to the good atmosphere in the association and is motivated to make a positive contribution to our society. In addition to co-organising the association’s events, she is involved in a project in Nicaragua.
Daniel Biek

Daniel, a doctoral student in physics at EPFL, is a fervent advocate for Engineers Without Borders (IngOG+). Alongside his academic journey, he harbors a fascinating curiosity for diverse cultures and is a devoted water sports enthusiast. However, his true passion lies in supporting individuals in various life situations. Of utmost importance to him is the development and implementation of sustainable solutions. Additionally, he serves as the project leader for the Water Infrastructure Project in Kenya.
Vera Balmer (Civil Engineer)

Vera is a doctoral student for computational structural mechanics at ETH. She newly joined the IngOG+ board and is motivated to implement her ideas there. In IngOG+, she would like to gain insights into the current projects and understand how she can transfer her knowledge into other parts of the world, to people who are in need of such. Next to her role as treasurer, she is also interested in maintaining and creating content for the Website.
Alessandra Riva

Alessandra studied analytical/environmental chemistry and recently completed a further education in Advanced Studies-Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for humanitarian and developing contexts (WASH). She is part of the WASH project in Yrdyk and co-coordinates the project group. She is a traveler by heart and joined IngOG+ with a strong will to contribute improving the living conditions of disadvantaged communities.
Andrea Blanco Acuña

Andrea is a Chemical and Bioengineer with experience in management and execution of projects in the energy and chemical industry in multicultural environments.
With a strong interest to use science and technology to solve pressing societal problems, Andrea advocates for pragmatic and timely solutions that prioritize the local communities and the engagement of project teams.
Jannis Marabeas

Jannis is a project manager, has studied civil engineering and is working as a BIM manager. He is very interested in the topic of digital transformation in the construction industry. Getting to know new people and cultures, exchanging ideas and experiences is very important to him. At the IngOG he is involved with the project guidelines and supports the various project groups with internal project management processes.
