Volunteering
Volunteering at IngOG⁺
A community committed to making an impact
At IngOG⁺, everything we do is driven by volunteers. Our community brings together people from diverse backgrounds — engineers, architects, social scientists, communication specialists, and more — all motivated to apply their skills to build a more just and sustainable world.
We work closely with local partners to develop projects with and for communities in need, ensuring that solutions are relevant and sustainable.
How you can get involved
Become a member
Members are the driving force of IngOG⁺ and actively shape our projects and organisation. They pay an annual membership fee and gain access to our network, knowledge, and activities.
We expect a regular commitment from active members, whether in project teams or internal activities such as communication, coordination, or events. If you prefer to support us without active involvement, you can join as a supporting member, contributing financially without a significant time commitment.
As a member, you:
- Receive regular updates and invitations to meetings and events
- Can participate in project group meetings
- Are invited to the General Assembly and can vote on key decisions (e.g. budget, board)
Join the expert pool
The expert pool allows you to contribute your knowledge in a flexible and targeted way. You will be contacted when your specific expertise is needed — for advice, technical input, or short-term support. You decide on a case-by-case basis whether you can contribute. This option is ideal if you have limited time but still want to support our projects with your experience.
As part of the expert pool, you are invited to the General Assembly as an auditor.
Flexible engagement
Your level of involvement can evolve over time — whether you want to engage regularly or contribute occasionally.
